Owen goes to the art show

Owen's class put on an art show. His teacher, Miss Jennifer, said that all the kids should dress up. I told Owen that he should dress up. He decided to dress up as a pirate (we're really bad about modifying behavior). So, here we are, on our way to the art show at Owen's school.

Owen with art

This was from the art show that Owen's class put on.

Owen with Miss Jennie and Miss Lynne

Owen posses with his teachers. Miss Jennie, on the left, is the creative genius behind the art show.

A Picture of Owen's Picture

Owen composed this shot, and his teacher took the photo.

Baby got Barack

Zoe is proud of her Obama-gear. Owen is still, I report with a sense of sadness, a Hillary holdout.

Fabulous

Doesn't B look fabulous here?

The weary pirate

Owen has no time to stare at the sea.

I was with him recently when he was wearing his pirate costume, including his hook. Someone asked him "What happened to your hand?"
"It's inside my hook." Owen answered.

He's a lot like his mom.

Ferry to Bainbridge

Zoe found mom more interesting.

The Children Meet

In the Seattle Center.

Supersized

Zoe has an enormous appetite.

Zoe prepares for the pirate cruise, near my butt.

Very serious

Owen pilots the ship. Though, actually, this was just a wheel nailed to a fence, but Owen took it very seriously. In his pirate outfit.

Pirate Zoe

Zoo trip

The kids never want to shell out the cash for a stroller. Why would they?

Mike!

It wasn't Zoe's birthday, but Mike played along.

Messy eater

Zoe is not terribly neat either.

It's hard

to accurately guess Zoe's shoe size.

Zoe and B at the Fourth of July

The Takoma Parade is our 4th of July routine. Here, Bridgette pretends to like bagpipe music for my benefit.
